Who are we?
Our name
Elzéard Bouffier has inspired our name but also our actions.
Elzéard is The Man Who Planted Trees, in the eponymous short story by Jean Giono, published in 1954.
Jean Giono left this short story free of rights so that it could be read by the largest number of people. It was translated in 13 different languages and has been an international success.
A lonely and silent shepherd, Elzéard, living in a barren, desolated and deserted region in Provence, planted hundred of acorns everyday for nearly forty years. Doing so, he succeeded in completely reforesting the area, giving it back its life: a true symbol of patience, perseverance, generosity and humility.
This tale conveys a humanist, ecological and precursory message on sustainable development. It is an invitation to humanity to take positive action for the environment.
Founders
Fanny Roger et Nadine Fattouh founded Elzéart.
Both passionate about artistic creation, they share common values of environmental and sustainable development protection.
They believe they have a role to play in the changing of people’s relation to nature and to the world. They are convinced that art is a tremendous opportunity to arouse public awareness and change behaviours, and in this sense, they want to put their experience and expertise at the service of the environment.
They both graduated from L’Ecole du Louvre. Nadine built her carrer in the art market and Fanny in the banking sector, as an art patrimony advisor.
Their everyday life is driven by questioning, advocating, and working for the sweeping change.

Enrica Saba
Enrica Saba was born in Italy and settled in France in 2002. After a long career in fashion retail, she decided to work in the social and solidarity economy. She became sales Director for the fair trade compagny Artisans du Monde. Led by her passion for beauty, ecology and fair trade, she enthusiastically joined Elzéart’s adventure.

Philippe Cochaud
Agricultural engineer, specialized in food quality and working in sales, Philippe Cochaud loves nature, hiking and singing. He decided to put all his enthusiasm, his rigour and his good ideas at the service of Elzéart.

Olga Jaouen
After having been in charge of digital communication within an international financial group, where she set an online magazine dedicated to CSR, Olga Jaouen created her communication company in 2017. She instantly supported Elzéart's ambitious project.
